Strongboi is a Berlin-born, silky and synth loving collaboration between bandmates and longtime friends Ziv Yamin and Alice Pheobe Lou. Their third single this year ‘Cold’ has been released just as the elongated British summer finally seems to be dwindling. The new single is the third to be lifted from their highly anticipated debut album, due for release early next year. It features a retro drum machine, as well as live drums, a squelchy, funk bass line and synthesiser. Alice Pheobe Lou sings a catchy melody, the kind that will still be swirling round your head when you rest your head on the pillow. After self-releasing three singles in 2020, recorded in a Berlin living room, the duo are now gearing up to release their debut album, recorded at La Pot, a studio they built together in East Berlin.
